The regenerative braking function is activated when travel direction is inversed. Regenerative braking speeds up working cycles, extends battery life and protects components from premature wear. Energetic braking is also achieved when using the magnetic braking system. When stopped, the electro-magnetic parking brake reinforces the normal mechanical handbrake. A “no roll-back” feature ensures safe ramp starts.
